Although it is commonly associated with other uses, cork is a surprisingly useful building material which provides many benefits.
Cork is a very good insulator and so is an ideal building material. It insulates well for both heat and sound too. Not only this but cork works well with moisture too. Of course it reacts just as any type of wood would and is, as such, susceptible to shrinking and expanding under certain conditions. However, cork is a perfect material for use in places like studios. Also, because it can form quite a calming atmosphere, this material may be specifically perfect for use in the studios of my client.
