I found a page on some architectural designs which were based off the topography of the landscape which they were inhabiting.
As mentioned in previous posts, I love the idea of using the contours in my design. It feels like a great way to respond to the site. The above image shows a model for a project by BIG, who were designing some residences in Montenegro. They took every contour fourth line and turned it into a terrace, creating the unique and natural piece of architecture above. The design flows so well with the surroundings that it almost blends away within the environment. It is an example of how architecture can truly work with nature.
